Join us for a Community Tree Planting Day at Railway Wood, Livingston!

We’re thrilled to invite you to a special tree planting event at Railway Wood, right by Uphall Train Station in Livingston. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, give back to the environment, and make a positive impact together. Thanks to our community partners, we’re excited to offer free tickets and transport from Glasgow for our participants!

Event Details:
- Date & Time: Sunday 24th November 2024, 10 am - 3 pm
- Location: Railway Wood, Livingston
- Meet-Up Point in Glasgow: Super Soccer, G5 8NB

How to Get There:
The complimentary mini-bus will leave from Super Soccer (G5 8NB) at 10 am, bringing us to the site entrance marked by a vehicle barrier near Uphall Train Station.

What to Expect:
Railway Wood has recently undergone extensive tree-felling work, so please be prepared for muddy, uneven ground. This experience will take place outdoors, and sturdy footwear (wellies or walking boots) and waterproof clothing are strongly recommended.

Facilities:
Please note that facilities on-site are limited, with no toilets available. The nearest restroom is at Dobbies Garden Centre (EH52 6PA), about 1.3 miles away.

Important Information:
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Wear warm layers, waterproofs, and walking boots for a comfortable and enjoyable planting experience.
