iRecord Training

This training will cover how to verify plant records on the iRecord website. It is aimed at vice-county recorders (VCRs), current iRecord verifiers and those thinking of starting verifying data on iRecord. Elements covered will include:

• Viewing, filtering and selecting records for verification;
• Understanding and using the verification options;
• Dealing with different types of records (photo, non-photo, pseudonyms, etc), and;
• Understanding the basics of how records move from iRecord to the DDb (managing iRecord data in the DDb will be the subject of a future session so will not be covered in detail)

This session is aimed at beginners and improvers but might still be useful for more experienced iRecord verifiers.

If you're a VCR or part of a VCR team and don't already have iRecord verification permission for your VC then please get in touch with your relevant Country Officer prior to the event so that we can set you up with verification permission.
