National Plant Monitoring Scheme Training - How to set up plots in your NPMS Square. Led by Ciaran Flynn

This event is an opportunity for anyone who has or is interested in adopting a National Plant Monitoring Scheme (NPMS) square to be guided through the process of setting up the plots for recording.

This event is ideal for those who have previously adopted squares but would like guidance about how to set-up their recording plots and for those who are keen to adopt an NPMS square and would like to know more about the science behind the scheme and the practicalities of plot set-up and the different levels of recording. 

This event will be led by Ciaran Flynn, who has been working with the BSBI in Northern Ireland to gain permissions, set-up plots and create an inventory list of plant species on NPMS squares throughout the country. The squares Ciaran has been working on will be available for adoption under the NPMS and BSBI Northern Ireland "Pre-Loved Squares" trial.
