Botanical Skills NI: The Daisy Family- Asteraceae

The Botanical Skills Northern Ireland Project is holding a training event on Plant Families with Only a Few Species at the Nature Trail Information Centre, Greenmount college on Wednesday 12 August. This event will be especially relevant to students on the Identiplant course and the Foundations in Plant ID course.

This training will consist of indoor sessions giving an introduction to the Daisy Family and looking more closely at examples provided with opportunities to identify nearby examples outside. Later in the day there will be a field based session to look around the campus grounds for examples of members of the Daisy Family.
