Using the BSBI Distribution Database (DDb), and other tools, to target recording

The BSBI has over 50 million records in its Distribution Database (DDb) collected by thousands of recorders over hundreds of years. In this session, we’ll explore how the DDb can be used to identify gaps in the distribution records of species, or within specific areas, so that you can focus your recording efforts in those areas that need it the most.

This training is aimed at BSBI members and supporters who are 'intermediate-level recorders', rather than complete beginner recorders.

A decision will be taken after the event as to whether the recording is added to the BSBI YouTube channel.
