Botanical Skills NI: Leading a New Year Plant Hunt

Have you ever thought about leading a New Year Plant Hunt (NYPH) but weren’t sure where to start? Join the Botanical Skills Project in Northern Ireland for an online workshop designed for botanists and aspiring leaders who would like to organise their own hunt.

We’ll walk you through the practical side of planning a NYPH, including health and safety, advertising your event, choosing a good location, checking for nearby facilities and the other things worth thinking about in advance. By the end, you’ll have the confidence to run an enjoyable and successful hunt.

The workshop is interactive, with questions, polls and chances to share your feedback, so come ready to take part.

Tickets are for the workshop only. You can find out more about the hunt itself on the BSBI New Year Plant Hunt page.
