Description
This workshop aims to introduce identification of common grasses to beginners and improvers who already have a basic grasp of plant ID. There will be a mix of classroom study and fieldwork, much of it in small groups with expert tutors.
Michael Philip and Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland (BSBI) tutors will offer expert guidance, helpful worksheets, plenty of hands-on study and a practical session in the field in the afternoon.

The booklet "Start to Identify Grasses", by Faith Anstey, will accompany the workshop and is free to participants (RRP £6.50). The workshop price includes teas & coffees - but not lunch. So you will need to bring a packed lunch. We will send detailed joining instructions nearer the time.
