Wednesday Night Sound Bath

Summer evenings in Scotland can be beautiful, but they can also make it harder to stop.

This weekly online sound bath is a quiet hour to help you soften the edges of the day, lie down, listen, and let your body begin to rest.

You can join live from home on Wednesday evening from 9:00–10:00pm UK time, or book your place and receive the replay to use anytime over the following 7 days.

The session includes a gentle sound journey with Tibetan bowls, gong, shruti box and soft grounding sounds, created to support deep rest, nervous system settling and a peaceful transition into sleep.

You do not need any experience. Just find a comfortable place to lie down, dim the lights, and give yourself permission to do very little for an hour.

About your host

I’m Douglas, the person behind Bothy Sound.

I create simple, grounded sound baths from my quiet space in Perthshire, using Tibetan bowls, gong, shruti box and gentle natural sounds to help people slow down and rest.

My approach is calm, down-to-earth and beginner-friendly. You don’t need to know anything about sound baths,  just come as you are, get comfortable, and let the sounds do the work.

What you’ll need
A quiet space, a blanket, a pillow, and headphones or speakers if you have them. You may want to have water nearby and keep the rest of your evening gentle afterwards.

Please note
Sound baths are generally very relaxing, but they may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a pacemaker, sound-triggered seizures, or a serious mental health condition, please get in touch before booking.
