An Autumn Bothy Journey

This August, I’m trying something a little different,  a slower, more immersive Bothy evening in the countryside near Comrie.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want Bothy Sound to become, and I keep coming back to something really simple:

Creating gatherings where we can step out of everyday life for a while, spend real time together, and reconnect with nature and ourselves.

So this isn’t simply a longer sound bath.

It’s a small three-hour gathering combining gentle Qigong, time in nature, tea, stillness and an extended sound journey.

We’ll begin outside, taking time to arrive, move and connect with our surroundings, before the evening gradually leads us towards something quieter and deeper inside the barn.

There will be moments of movement, nature, sound, silence and connection — with a few things I’m deliberately leaving for you to discover on the evening itself.

There’s nothing to achieve, and no previous experience is needed. Everything is gentle and invitational.

Come as you are

Step away from everyday life for a few hours.

Slow things down.

Spend some time outdoors.

Perhaps meet someone new.

And enjoy some of the simple pleasures that can so easily get lost when life gets busy.

My hope is that you leave feeling relaxed and a little more connected to the simple things that make life feel good.
