Day 1 - Skin Mastery

Morning session

The basics- understanding the structure of the skin - layers of the skin (epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous, cellular activity in the dermis, functions)

Healthy skin vs ageing skin - 20s 30s 40s what happens at what stages. What speeds up the process (sun exposure, glycation, free radicals, menopause, stress) intrinsic and extrinsic

Assessing skin types- characteristics of oily, combo, normal, dry, face mapping, characteristics and what the types look like

Skin conditions- rosacea, acne, dehydrated, pigmentation, characteristics and what will help the concerns. Pictures and discussions.

Skin care- cleansers, toners, serums, moisturise, exfoliate, spf- what they do, ingredients (AHA,BHA ETC) how to layer the products, when to exfoliate, what’s best for each skin type.

Consultation process - types of questions to ask, lifestyle, products they use at home, what client wants out of the consultation, treatments etc.

Consultation in pairs, recommend skin care and determine skin types and conditions.

Discussion on skin rejuvenation- what to use in clinic and what particular treatments are good for what conditions

Afternoon session

Practical - on each other

Practicals

Demo- cleanse, massage (3/4 moves) 3,6,9 repetitions, pressure points, product application. Work in pairs.

Questions, business strategies, hints , tips , etc product up selling and how to integrate it into the treatment/consultation

Day 2 - Skin Booster Workshop - Profhilo & Sunekos 200

Theory will be sent online prior to workshop

Profhilo

Profhilo® is a hyaluronic acid injectable treatment. Profhilo® has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid in the market.

Profhilo® works to hydrate the skin, providing optimum skin quality, while also lifting and rejuvenating the treated area – reducing skin laxity. This is known as bioremodelling.

Sunekos

The new ECM (Extra-Cellular Matrix) Regeneration System for Dermal Biogenesis.

Using a specific patented injection of hyaluronic acid and amino acids to restore the biological function of the dermis and to restore the natural youthful look of the skin.

Practical - treat a model with Profhilo & Sunekos*

* You will be split into pairs and each of you will treat half a face each with Profhilo on the first model and then half a face each with Sunekos on the second model.
