Evening Campfire Stories: Scottish Myths and Legends
Evening Campfire Stories: Scottish Myths and Legends
Need help?
This is a truly unique experience and only on offer for the Loch and Land Festival 2025.
Join us for an unforgettable evening under the woodland canopy, as we listen to stories from ancient Scottish myths and legends. This 1h30 session sees us cosy around a campfire (or in the yurt if it is exceptionally rainy), as stories of our ancient legends are once again brought to life. Hear about Kelpies, Selkies, Red Caps and much more. Hot water is provided along with Tea, coffee and hot chocolate - you are welcome to bring your own snacks. Wrap up warm, though some blankets will be available, seating is informal and on logs, you are welcome to bring your own chair.
We recommend minimum age of 8yrs. Some of the myths are a little scary and the woodland can be dark, although the pathways will be gently lit up to guide, so as not to disturb our wildlife too much. There are no jump scares, this is a chilled out event, immersed in autumn evening woodland.
