What do we need to bring?

• Clothes for 2 nights, 3 days
• Towel and Toiletries; shower gel, shampoo, soaps etc
• Set of clothes and footwear that will get wet
• Re-fillable water bottle
• Prayer Mat

What is the accommodation like?

• Dorm blocks with single beds. Between 6-8 people per block. Multiple toilets and showers in each block. Facilities are basic but clean.

Do we have to participate in activities?

• No, you are welcome to use activity time for personal reflection, reading, worship or exploring the beautiful grounds of the site.

How will the retreat be segregated?

• Separate accommodation blocks and social spaces
• Separate activities timings for meals
• Only lectures delivered by teachers will be together, with sisters in one side of hall and brothers in the other

Will transport be provided

• No, the site is 1 hour away from Bradford Muslim College. Please make your own travel arrangements. If you are struggling for transport please message in the student society groups to ask if others would be willing to car share with you

I can only attend part of the retreat – can I still attend?

• Yes, you can still attend. However, if you are staying overnight the full retreat price must be paid, as we are charged by the venue for each person who stays overnight.

Will there be a day attendance option?

• Yes, day tickets will be available for Saturday and Sunday. The ticket price is £75 per day. You can buy day tickets for both days or just one. Day tickets will be released in early august.

Is parking available on site?

• Yes, there is ample parking on site.

Can I bring my own snacks or food?

• Yes, meals will be provided but you are welcome to bring any additional snacks.

Is there phone signal / mobile data on site?

• Yes, phone signals and Mobile date are available on site.

What is the dress code?

• Brothers and Sisters must observe the rules of covering when out and about the site and during classes and prayers.
