Braughing’s legendary Fair and Wheelbarrow Race returns Saturday, 12th July 2025 from 12–6pm.

Wheelbarrow Race Entry

Please note: Race Entry fees are per barrow, not per competitor. Prizes for 'best-dressed barrow' and race winners.

Age 6-12: £5 in advance £7 on the day

Age 13-17: £8 in advance £10 on the day

Adult and Child Race (child must be 6-17 years of age): £10 in advance £15 on the day

Adults (mixed/women/men): £10 in advance £15 on the day

Dog Show Entry

£2 per class. £3 per class on the day. Please bring your booking confirmation to the dog show tent on arrival. Entries are also accepted on the day, please register at the dog show tent.

The Judges' decision is final and remember, it is just a bit of fun! Dogs entered at owners risk. Please pick up after your dog (bags available at the dog show registration). Keep dogs on a lead at all times. Any incident involving a dog is the owner's responsibility.

Classes

1.15pm Beautiful Bitches - Open to female dogs of all ages and breeds. Judges are looking for attractive dogs in good condition

1.30pm Handsome Hounds - Open to male dogs of all ages and breeds. Judges are looking for attractive dogs in good condition

1.45pm Cutest Puppy - Open to all dogs under 1 year of age. The title speaks for itself!

2.00pm Best Young Handler (8-16 years old) - Open to children aged between 8 and 16 with any breed, age and gender of dog. The child must be able to control the dog at all times

2.15pm Best Rescue Dog - Open to any breed, age and gender of rescue dog

2.30pm Dog the Judge Would Most Like To Take Home - Judges are looking for friendly dogs of any breed, age and gender, with good personalities
