An invitation to slow down, soften, and come back to yourself.
In the height of summer, a season of fullness, warmth, and quiet aliveness, Sacred Summer Stillness is a space to step out of the noise of the mind and gently return to the body.
So often we move through life pulled by thoughts, expectations, and the weight of what feels unresolved. This experience offers something different: a chance to pause, to breathe, and to meet yourself exactly where you are, without needing to fix, change, or push anything away.
Together, we will explore what it means to stay present with what is here.
To soften the grip of overwhelm.
To release the habit of self-judgment.
To allow the nervous system to settle, naturally and safely.
Through guided Conscious Connected Breathwork, Pranayama, stillness, and gentle awareness practices, you’ll be supported to:
• Drop out of the mind and into the body
• Stay with sensation, emotion, and truth as it arises
• Let go of internal pressure, expectations, and striving
• Create space for release, in your own time, in your own way
Held in a nurturing and intentional environment, this is also a space for connection, breathing together, being witnessed, and remembering that you don’t have to hold everything alone.
Breathing in the energy of summer, blooming, open, alive, you’ll be invited to rest into the simplicity of being. To feel the steadiness beneath the noise. To rediscover the quiet stillness that already exists within you.
Practices you will try
1. Pranayama: Breathing techniques to strengthen the connection between your body and mind.
2. Conscious Connected Breathwork: A circular breathing technique where the inhales are immediately followed by exhales without pause. When maintained for 40 minutes this practice brings on non-ordinary states of consciousness and can lead to profound experiences of healing.
3. Breath Holds: Great for lung health, boosts the cardiovascular system.
4. Affirmations: Positive thinking can rewire your brain, changing the way you feel about things. Affirmations work because of neuroplasticity, the brains ability to adapt to new situations and ways of thinking/feeling.
5. Visualisations: Helps cultivate relaxation and self awareness, leading to improved mental health and a greater sense of wellbeing.
There are so many proven benefits to this type of breathwork journey, all the systems of your body, especially the nervous system get reset. The mind relaxes and let's go and this in turn helps your whole body feel more aligned and balanced. You feel more connected to yourself and your life.
We breathe together in a group and that makes an additional special energy in the room. Many people come on their own because the space is a welcoming, calm sanctuary for everyone.
