clocked off is black men off duty. a few hours out from under all of it. the job, the bills, the responsibilities, the version of yourself everyone else needs. you put it down at the door and pick it back up on the way out.

the night

18:00 doors open. introductions and mingling

18:30 table games. every table has a different game on it. guess who, p for pizza, uno and more, whatever lands in front of you. play who you sit with.
winner on each table for each round gets a chip, with the prize for the winner on the night going to the person with the most chips.

20:30 we bring out the comedians. two or three sets of stand up, we close around 21:30.

your ticket gets you in and your first drink is on us.

Do I need to bring anything?
No. Everything is set up for you. Just bring yourself, your ticket and whoever you want with you.

What should I expect?
Games running all night and 2 stand up comedy sets to finish off the night.

Do I need to be good at the games?
No you do not need to be.

Is this a talk or a workshop?

Can I bring a friend?
Yes. Bring who you like. Everyone needs their own ticket.

Is this the same as Grounded?
No. Same house, different room. Grounded is where you talk. Clocked Off is we relax and have fun.

Can I attend as a woman?
Yes. The room is built for Black men to be off duty together, so come in that spirit and you will fit right in.

Will there be more?
Yes. This is Round 001. Clocked Off runs as a series.

What if I can't make it?
Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event. After that you can pass your ticket to someone else.
