Black Professionals in Law - Kingsley Napley x Bridging Barriers Insight Day

Bridging Barriers has partnered up with Kingsley Napley to provide an in-person insight day. This Insight Day is specifically for candidates of Black or mixed Black heritage, aged 18+, who are interested in pursuing a career in law. Candidates must also be either:

• A university student in at least their second year
• A recent graduate
• A career changer exploring entry routes into the legal profession

You must meet all eligibility criteria in order to apply. 

What to Expect

This interactive Insight Day will give you the opportunity to explore what a career in law could look like, hear directly from professionals at Kingsley Napley and build practical skills to support your applications.

The day will include:

• Welcome to Kingsley Napley - learn more about the firm, its work and career opportunities.
• Practice Area Focus & Interactive Case Study - gain insight into different areas of law and work through a practical case study.
• Recruitment Process & Q&A - understand the application and recruitment process, what Kingsley Napley looks for in candidates and have the opportunity to ask questions.
• Interview Practice - develop your interview skills and gain practical guidance to help you approach future interviews with confidence.
• LinkedIn & Personal Branding - learn how to strengthen your professional profile and position yourself effectively.
• Panel Discussion - hear honest insights from professionals at different stages of their careers and ask your questions about working in law.
• Networking - connect with Kingsley Napley professionals and other aspiring legal professionals throughout the day
