Online, Zoom
Description
*Participants will earn 3 CE hours*
This course on the exploration of grief and loss will center on the theories of grief counseling and the tools and techniques used in bereavement counseling. Additionally, it seeks to enhance understanding of the diverse needs of individuals experiencing grief due to death, illness, dying, impairment, separation, workplace changes, and other significant life losses. The goal of the course is to support clinicians in developing professional competence in bereavement counseling and comprehending the intricacies of the human grief response. It will also promote self-awareness of personal grief to better understand and address potential countertransference issues that may arise in this field of work.
