Online, Zoom
Description
*Participants will earn 3 Cultural Competency/Anti-Oppression CE hours*
Have you ever wondered about the difference between Cultural Humility and Cultural Competence? This training is designed to clarify these concepts and guide you through the process of becoming a more culturally humble practitioner. At its core, cultural humility is an ongoing, evolving journey that encourages continuous self-reflection and growth, enabling you to better serve individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout this training, we will equip you with the tools and insights needed to embark on this journey. Once you've begun your path toward cultural humility, we will further support you by teaching you how to facilitate a Cultural Formation Interview. This will empower you to integrate these principles seamlessly into your Social Work practice, helping you engage more effectively and empathetically with clients from all walks of life.
Participants will receive 3 Cultural Competency/Anti-Oppression CEs following their conclusion of the class.
