Exploring the Impact of Stories: Healing our Stories with IFS

Wed Oct 7, 2026 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM EDT Online, Zoom

Our minds are not cameras; they are story tellers. We are always telling ourselves stories. Our clients come in to tell their stories and have them heard in a compassionate relationship. Bringing attention to this tendency to story tell and seeing the impact of these stories can open possibilities for living a fuller life.

In this class we will explore how our family, ancestral, and cultural stories impact our perceived experience. We will watch in real time how our parts create narratives to satisfy unmet needs. We will work with ourselves as we explore the impact of the stories that we have been marinated in throughout our lives. We will learn how to help our clients become aware of their need for narrative creation and experience the impact of stepping out of those old cloaks and living stories that promote aliveness and freedom.

The class will use guided meditation, discussion, teaching, and live demos.

This 4-week course will take place on the following Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 PM EST (1:00-3:00 PM PST): October 7, October 14, October 21, and October 28.

Participants will receive 12 CEs following their completion of the program/course.
