Brighton Illustration Festival 2026

After last year’s big return, Brighton Illustration Festival is back again for 2026 - and what a year it's shaping up to be! In 2025, we welcomed back almost 2,000 of you to meet exhibitors and guests across a full weekend of illustration-based fun and games. Prints, zines, comics, books, ceramics, talks, workshops, screenings - loads to look at, loads to get stuck into, loads of lovely people doing what they do best.

This year, we’re building on that. Same spirit. More artists. More things to see and do. Another jam-packed weekend celebrating illustration in all its weird, wonderful, scribbly glory - from first-time exhibitors to familiar faces, from a casual browse to properly getting involved.

Whether you’re a die-hard BIF-er or just fancy a wander, it’s all about illustration, community, and spending a couple of days surrounded by good work and good people.

Two venues, one ticket! This year's festival takes place at The Wing at The Brighton Centre and Wagner Hall, just across the road from each other.

The Wing is home to our 130+ exhibitors across two floors, with stalls full of prints, zines, books, comics and all sorts. You'll also find drop-in workshops running throughout the weekend, with plenty of chances to get stuck in and make something yourself, plus food and drink from Bolt Espresso, Earls and At The Table. This is also where you'll register when you arrive and pick up your festival wristband.

Over at Wagner Hall is where talks, screenings and more(!) workshops live: a space to hear from artists, guests and speakers sharing their work, ideas and stories. Mornings are dedicated to our younger visitors.

VENUES - HOW TO FIND US

The Wing at The Brighton Centre - Russell Road - Entrance to the venue is via Russell Road - this is at the back of the main Brighton Centre - there is no access via the seafront side. 
*Please head to The Wing first to buy your ticket or swap it for a BIF wristband

Wagner Hall - Russell Place - The entrance to Wagner Hall for BIF26 is via Russell Place (Google maps will try and take you to Regency Road, you will not be able to access from this side). If you are standing outside The Wing with the doors directly behind you, walk straight ahead down Russell Place, and at the end  take a right. It will be clearly signposted and we will have stewards guiding the route.
