Join us for a screening of the incredible 'We Won't Be Silent: Resisting the UK's Arms trade with Israel’ by local journalist and filmmaker Medyan Dairieh. This screening is about the UK’s role in the ethnic cleansing of Palestine via the arms trade. It features the arms factory, L3 Harris, in Moulscoomb and ongoing local resistance against it.
The screening will be followed by optional crafts, badgemaking, and a group discussion with filmmaker Medyan Dairieh. This event is free but if you are able to donate, all proceeds will go towards the Stop L3 Harris campaign to help them continue their vital work.
Refreshments and some treats by Palestinian-run cafe Aroma will be provided.
This will be a relaxed screening, and you're welcome to join us for some or all of the programme. Venue is wheelchair accessible. Please find below some rough timings:
6pm - Doors open, light refreshments will be available
6.15pm - Short introductions and film start (rough running time is 47 minutes)
