30th Birthday Gala Concert Celebration!

After missing out on celebrating our 30th Birthday in 2020, we are excited to bring you the news that our Gala Concert will go ahead in City Hall at 3pm on Sunday 7th November.

Under the baton of Antoni Bonetti AM, the orchestra are bringing you a very special program for this concert. The first half of the concert will begin with Kabalevsky's spirited "Overture to Colas Breugnon". It continues with a very special commission from one of Australia's best known composers, Elena Kats-Chernin and Brahms "Variations on a Theme by Haydn". The concert will conclude with Brahms Symphony Number 2, conducted by our Chief Conductor, Paul Dean.

CITY HALL COVID PLAN
As the City Hall COVID plan mandates allocated seating, you will have to select your seat from the seating map that appears when you are buying your ticket; please also book tickets all within the same row as each other.

To select a seat:
1. Click on the section you would like to sit (balcony or stalls).
2. Double click in the general area of where you'd like to sit and to zoom in.
3. Click on a seat and it will show the prices for that seat and let you book it.

To comply with City Hall COVID plans we are unable to provide printed program notes at the door as is customary. We'll let you know when the notes are finalised. We'll include a link where you can download a .pdf copy of the notes to either print out or to peruse on your own device during the concert.

*City Hall Auditorium is an ACCESSIBLE venue - including BALCONY seats.
