Welcome to Bristol Academy of Drama (B.A.D.). We are a 5* rated affordable drama school offering adults and children the opportunity to engage in theatre and performance in its many forms.

We cater to all levels of ability, from the confident performer to those who may not yet have the self-assurance to take centre stage. Through engagement with drama, you can increase social skills by working as a team, learn to speak clearly and express yourself with confidence and it expands creative thinking skills which benefits all areas in school or work life.​

BAD’s focus is not on the musical theatre genre although there is plenty of movement and voice work in classes. We offer holiday workshops for children run during Easter, Summer and half terms throughout the year. They run over a day, 3 days and 1 week and the focus ranges from puppetry to stage combat, play in a day to a week rehearsing and preparing for a performance for family and friends to enjoy.
