Established in July 2022, funded by a grant awarded by GambleAware, the Bristol Hub for Gambling Harms Research is an independent Hub created to build capacity in cutting-edge gambling harms research. The Hub benefits from the active involvement of researchers from all faculties of the University of Bristol, bringing new disciplines into gambling research such as complexity science, criminology and computer-human interactions.
