The Soul Session: A Night of Live Music & Art

Downtown Live, in partnership with Paradigm Arts and Culture Foundation Inc., would like to invite you to The Soul Session, a night of live music and art at the Rockwell Theater. The Soul Session is an evening dedicated to celebrating the essence of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues and Neo-Soul music through live performances, visual art and spoken word.  Network with artists or sit back and enjoy the ambiance that will be showcased throughout this unique evening.  There will be a silent auction, showcasing local creators with proceeds directly supporting the artists.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will also be honored for his many contributions to social justice for the betterment of communities across America.  Paradigm foundation's mission along with Downtown Live, is to foster inclusive spaces through the power of art and culture and we are ecstatic to host this event in the City of Bristol. 

Event Highlights: 

Live music & Entertainment: A blend of vocalists, musicians and poets who bring these genres to life. 

Silent Auction: Bid on exclusive artworks and sculptures from local creators with proceeds directly supporting their future projects. 

Visual Art Exhibition: Immerse yourself in a gallery of curated visual art that adds new dimension to the night's theme. 

Panel-style artist showcase: Enjoy solo and collaborative performances that bled musical genres and spoken work. 

Interactive Mic Toss Segment: We invite the audience to engage and sing along and share their own spoken word.

Flow of the evening: 

5-6PM - Social hour begins with networking opportunities, the silent auction will open, patrons are encouraged to engage with artists, visit sponsor tables an enjoy the photobooth. 

6-8:45PM - Main event with live performances from singers, dancers, artists and our interactive mic toss segment. 

8:45-9PM - Mingle and interact before taking off for the evening.
