Wednesdays - Footwork, Body Movement & Styling

FOUNDATION CLASSES
Specific Wednesdays 19.45-20.45
Best for: Improvers, Intermediates

Styling means different things to different people but for us, it’s how you use your whole body to level up your basics. Our Foundations Classes teach you how to use your whole body from the ground up; feet, legs, hips, chest, shoulders, arms and head not only to improve the quality every individual step but to also improve your balance in turns, posture, alignment, speed, musicality & creativity which you can incorporate into your solo and partnerwork without impacting your connection.

Classes are taught on On2 Followers timing (as is the norm for On2) and are suitable (and applicable) for all On1 & On2 dancers who are comfortable dancing at improver/improver plus level.
Sessions are suitable for both leaders and followers. However, please note that our Ladies/Followers Arm Styling modules (which run on specific advertised dates), will focus on ladies/follower arm styling, though all genders are still welcome, of course.

The focus of Foundation Classes scheduled until the end of March are as follows.

FOOTWORK CLASSES
Specific Wednesdays 21.00 – 22:00
Best for: Improvers, Intermediates

Ever broken away from partnerwork on the dance floor and your mind goes completely blank and you can’t think of any shines to fill the music? Our footwork (shines) class will involve learning a small combination of steps, including additional styling, which will help improve your technique as well as your confidence shining on the dance floor!
Classes are taught on On2 followers timing (as is the norm On2). These sessions are suitable however, for all On1 & On2 dancers who, we recommend, are comfortable dancing at improver/improver plus level.

>>> There are two Unity Studios in Bristol, so please check you have the BS2 studio!

- Online tickets are £10 (one class) or £15 (two classes).
- There is room for 15 people per class. Book online to avoid disappointment on the door.
- Doors open 15 minutes before class start time. Please aim to arrive on time BEFORE the start time of your class to present your QR code. Classes will start promptly.
