The 23rd European Grassland Federation Symposium ‘Multi-species swards’

The British Grassland Society is pleased to invite you to the 23rd European Grassland Federation Symposium that will be held from 15 -17 September 2025 in Reading, UK. The subject of the symposium is multi-species swards.

The three themes for the symposium are:

Theme 1 – Agronomic considerations of multi-species swards

Theme 2 – Animal production impacts of multi-species swards

Theme 3 – Impacts of multi-species swards on the environment

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend a mid-symposium tour that will be taking place on the afternoon Tuesday 16th September. Delegates will need to select one of two options:

• The University of Reading's Crop Research Unit (CRU)
• The University of Reading's Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR)
