Mindset and Confidence for Equestrians - online talk
Thu 21 Mar 2024 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
Cara Chapman is a certified mindset and subconscious transformation coach, specialising in the equestrian community. As a horse owner and rider herself, she has learned a lot over the years, through her own personal experiences and combines this with her coaching training to help equestrians boost their confidence and really enjoy doing whatever they love most with their horses.
Cara is also trained in Horse Psychology with Intelligent Horsemanship, and continues to develop her horsemanship skills through the TRT Method with Tristan Tucker, giving her a unique approach which encompasses rider confidence and mindset, and a deeper understanding of what's going on for our horses too.
Our online talk will cover:
- Rider mindset and confidence - understanding fear and how to handle it
- How to manage fear/nerves before an event and on the day
- What happens when things don't go to plan - dealing with disappointment
- Insights into what's going on for your horse and how you can work better with them
The talk is equally applicable to all equestrians, whether you are hacking, competing or doing groundwork with a youngster. Maybe you are quietly confident generally but have a wobble about cantering in a group, perhaps you worry about dressage tests, or even feel apprehensive every time you get in the car to go and see your beloved horse - Cara will give you some tips and coping strategies to turn it around!
