Influencing Equine Performance from the Hooves Up - CPD day with Master Farrier Ben Benson

Update your knowledge on all things related to equine feet and farriery - and some you might not even think of as being related! We'll look at the foot and shoeing in a holistic context, essentially thinking about what performance means - and what it means to different clients - and how we can influence it from the hooves up. We'll start with a theory session in the local village hall, then move to the forge (directions will be sent to ticket buyers pre-event) where we'll watch the team put theory into practice shoeing. Ticket numbers are limited to ensure lots of opportunity to get involved in discussions.

Ideal for anyone with an interest in hoof care and shoeing, whether as a layman owner, an equine professional or someone working towards Stage 4 and Stable Manager's assessments. BHS Accredited Professional Coaches will receive 6 CPD points for the day. Attendance certificates can be provided for those requiring them for other organisations, but it is your responsibility to check whether those organisations will accredit the day. 

Meet your presenter:
Master Farrier Ben Benson is an Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, a Master Farrier & Approved Training Farrier, who has worked in the industry for over 23 years and has shod at four Olympic Games. His expertise is second to none and he'll share insights with us throughout this training day.
