Facing the Dragon: Transformation in turbulent times

Join us for a programme of speakers and activities to explore this theme.  The programme includes:

21 June 7pm-10pm: Opening the conference: Summoning the dragon; a drumming workshop

22 June 9am-4pm: Speakers including keynote speaker Theresa Foks from the Dutch Society for Sandplay Therapy

23 June 9am -1pm: Speakers, conference conclusions and lunch

22 June 7pm - late : 2 Course dinner, welcome drink and after dinner Storytelling                                                                                                           Join Speakers and delegates for dinner, mingling and storytelling with Stephen Rea at The Mill, a beautiful grade II listed building in the centre of Ulverston.

Tickets are £40 and are booked separately

23 June 1.30pm - 4pm : Private tour of the Manjushri Buddhist Centre where Dora Kalff visited and taught in the 1970s                                 The Manjushri Centre is located on the outskirts of Ulverston (hopefully we will be able to arrange transport amongst ourselves).  We will be given a private tour and a talk with the tour leader.  There will be an opportunity for some free time or to join a group meditation and then we will have a cream tea in the dining room of the priory building.
