BMMS UCLan Mountain Medicine Winter Webinar - Olly Saunders

As a leading kayaker and mountaineer Olly Saunders has explored parts of the world that many of us can only dream of visiting. In his book, "The Journey Not The Destination" Olly describes a series of small scale expeditions and first ascents in remote places, where self-reliance and trust are paramount, humour and having a good time with friends at its core. Join us for fascinating night!

The Mountain Medicine Winter Webinar Series returns in October 2024 for a fifth year. Thanks to support from the British Mountain Medicine Society (BMMS), University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), the Alpkit Foundation and Vertebrate Publishing, these events are FREE to attend.

Like previous years, each webinar will last for one hour and feature a talk from a fascinating guest speaker. Plenty of time will be set aside for questions and comments at the end.

A certificate of attendance will be provided to those who complete the feedback questionnaire. This will be FREE to BMMS members and £3 to non members.

The event will take place on Microsoft Teams and login details will be sent out 1 week and 24 hours before the webinar.
