The BPA Summer Study Day | Different Psychoanalytic Paradigms: How different are they?
Sat 22 Jun 2024 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
89 Prince of Wales Road, NW5 3NT
Description
In-person & Online Summer Study Day
We will explore two different psychoanalytic paradigms, the ‘Kleinian’ and the ‘Independent’ considering how these different theoretical approaches lead to differences in the consulting room as exemplified in a case study. Starting with the development of the different orientations we will consider whether pluralism really is possible in contemporary psychoanalytic thinking and practice.
An attendance certificate can be provided.
