BSET Endovascular Training Course 2025
This innovative two-day course will provide extensive hands-on practical training in the principles and practicalities of endovascular management of vascular diseases. Attendees will be mentored in small groups by world class trainers who are senior members of BSET.
The course is aimed at senior vascular and IR trainees and new consultants.
Delegates will be split into groups of 6 who will rotate round the following sessions:
IR-AAA including REVAR including team working, planning, deployment and closure devices and managing complications
Aorto-occlusive disease including CT imaging and interpretation iliac intervention, kissing stents/balloons and managing complications
Infra-inguinal intervention including basic interventional kit introduction, fem-pop intervention and treatment algorithms, and managing complications
Endovenous intervention including superficial truncal reflux techniques – RFA, EVLA, Venaseal and Deep Venous Stenting, and managing complications
In addition, there will be 3 separate expert presentations on
- Modern management of acute limb ischaemia
- Building a tibial angioplasty practice
- Managing the unexpected
Registration for the meeting includes overnight accommodation at Tortworth Court Hotel on Thursday 13th March, and dinner.
