The BSMA Soiree

After our incredibly successful National Conference in June, we are back!

We are excited to announce that the BSMA Soiree is making a welcome return. Last year we held our very first Soiree, and it's fair to say it served as a fantastic platform for what came after. We reflected on all of your feedback, recognising the desire across the board to have more networking opportunities. So we thought what better way to do that than a bigger and better BSMA Soiree!

We'll have:

- A creative and interactive networking activity to start off with (to the artists amongst you, don't forget your berets!)

- An esteemed guest who will tell us about her incredible work in the NHS and beyond

- A small group activity where you'll come up with innovative and sustainable ways to tackle healthcare issues in our community

- Great food & prizes up for grabs!

General Info

The BSMA is a voluntary organisation of over 200 UK based British Somali doctors and medical students set up in 2018 with the aim of providing a platform for medics to network, educate and support each other. For many years now the BSMA has also been providing free support for medical school applications to aspiring medical students of all backgrounds and has been helping to address the complex healthcare challenges facing the British Somali community. The BSMA has a registered charitable arm for its community work - the British Somali Medical Foundation (Charity no 1194268).
