Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned competitor, this unique format offers a test of fitness, strategy, and golf skill on a beautiful, compact course in the heart of Kent.

🔔 Event Highlights

14-holes of Speedgolf on this premium 18 hole course, giving a distance more equitable to the 2026 British Speedgolf Championship while negating the need to navigate the road crossing at an accelerated pace. As a newbie this is your gateway to secure a place for the British Speedgolf Championships were the top performing new players or those who have not pre-qualified will be invited to register for the National Championships in September. Other more seasoned and top performing players are welcome to get in another competitive speedgolf round to further hone their skills.

Solo tee times at 4 minute intervals.

Fast-paced, inclusive atmosphere. Players will mark their own scorecards. 

Tea/Coffee and a bacon roll or vegetarian alternative post round inclusive of your entrance fee. 

🔹 What is Speedgolf?

Speedgolf combines golf with running with total golf strokes plus  time to complete the round.
Speedgolf Score = Strokes + Time (in minutes and seconds)
The lower the better!

🎯 Eligibility & Entry

Accomplished golfers with a current or lapsed handicap. Capable of a comfortable 5km run, even if at a modest pace. We do ask entrants to provide their golf handicap and 5k pace times to help us with the tee order as we set off the anticipated fastest off first to reduce the occurrence of playthroughs. Golf strokes are gross and represent a player's total number of strokes throughout their round, including any penalty strokes – there are NO adjustments for handicap! Previous Speedgolf experience is not necessary! 

🏆 Speedgolf Format 

All players complete 14 holes in a solo format (4-minute tee intervals) running between strokes (on foot - no buggies) The best Top-performing players (excluding those already pre-qualified on past results) will be invited to register for the British Championship (Sunday 6th September - returning to Sunningdale Heath, Ascot)  The entrance fee is for the qualifier, there is a separate registration fee for those who will go on the play in September.

British Speedgolf promotes a welcoming, inclusive environment where PGA Pros and amateur men, women and juniors compete together. Camaraderie is a hallmark of the sport— experienced players can help newcomers with tips and strategy for success

📅 Schedule

• Clubhouse Opens: 7:00 AM

• Player Registration: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM

• Tee Times Start: 8:00 AM through to 10:00 AM (Expected Faster players go out first!)

🎟 Event Entry Fees

• Adult Entry: £90 + £1.50 processing fee

• Junior Entry (Under 18): £65 + £1.50 processing fee
  Includes a breakfast snack & drink after your morning round.

Please note this provides astonishing value as guest tees to play on this premium course exceed £100 per person, without any refreshments!

• Self scoring with player completing their own scorecard

• All players must sign a Participant Disclaimer, Liability Waiver & Image Release at registration on the day

Registration fees are generally non-refundable, due the nature an size of the event, unless the event is cancelled by British Speedgolf/Wildernesse due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances. 
New for 2026 Entrants can opt  to pay a little extra for Refund Protection of registration fees, for genuine injury, illness via this Ticket Tailor platform. 

We cannot refund costs such as travel, accommodation, or other expenses. Full details in our Terms & Conditions, read as part of entry process.

This is a gateway event to the British Speedgolf National Championships which were oversubscribed last year. This qualifier is to manage demand, particularly for those new to the sport, The best Top-performing players (excluding those already pre-qualified on past results) will be invited to register for the British Championship (Sunday 6th September - returning to Sunningdale Heath, Ascot)  It is  also open to those who just want to try the sport rather than necessarily secure a place for the above or for those simply looking for anther opportunity for speedgolf  practice!
