Yoga is a moving meditation practice that can bring mind, body and spirit into union. In this class we’ll explore a combination of hatha-inspired poses (asanas) with the breath, to settle the mind and bring awareness into the body. The poses will lead into longer-held ‘yin’ stretches, to release tension and bring about deep relaxation.
Each class is a chance to experience a shift in awareness from thinking into feeling, and explore a more spacious way of being. Absolutely no previous experience of yoga or meditation required, all bodies are welcome.

Bex Arthur sees each class as a chance for transformation: a shift not only in the way we feel, but in the way we inhabit the world. With a twinkly enthusiasm, she brings in teachings from Jivamukti yoga, Yin, Nidra, Sound Healing and Buddhism to settle the mind and explore expanded states of awareness.
Lotte van Buuren has been teaching at Fierce Grace Hot Yoga and other studios for over six years. She started practicing yoga almost 10 years ago, as it helped to ease the anxiety and depression she was struggling with at the time. For Lotte, yoga means a calm mind, emotional resilience and a renewed sense of joy and purpose in life.
