Brunch With John & Di Cullen and Germa Adan & Mairi MacMillan (Concert)

This duo have built up a great reputation for Di’s voice, John’s delicate guitar playing, their vocal harmony and a selection of traditional and contemporary songs - thought provoking, quirky and funny. We're delighted that John and Di will be hosting Brunch with at the Sailing Club, along with Germa Adan & Mary MacMillan.  

Màiri and Germa began their collaboration in 2022, stemming from an interest in mouth music/puirt-a-beul, which resulted in them learning and sharing songs from their cultures. This followed an opportunity for a further collaboration on a Gaelic songwriting project and a performance in Tramway, Glasgow in 2024. Germa has since arranged, produced and performed on Màiri’s recent album of newly composed Gaelic songs inspired by urban green spaces, creating a unique and beautiful sound. Màiri and Germa are solo singing artists with a deep connection to their own cultures and this interesting collaboration brings together two distinctive sounds from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.   

About the Venue:- The lovely Sailing Club, where you get up close and personal with some of our guests with fantastic views over Viking Bay, hosts some of our most popular events.

Refreshments: Bar, teas, coffees, snacks and breakfasts.

Accessibility: The sailing club is accessed by very steep stairs, There is a small alternative entrance at the side but on a slope.   There are several public car parks close by.
