Singing For Fun with Sarah Westcott (Sing / Workshop)

WORKSHOP with Sarah Westcott - 90 mins. Sarah believes that the pleasure of singing is everyone's birthright and she loves giving people a chance to have a go. Sarah has run community choirs for 16 years; she teaches by ear - she sings, you copy - so there's no need to read music. You are all welcome to join the Broadstairs festival choir, singing songs from different styles and cultures, featuring gospel and world music.

Held in the Viking room.

About the Venue: Home to our main afternoon and evening and morning coffee concerts and workshops,  a superb venue in the heart of the town. The 300 seat, air conditioned, auditorium is an excellent concert space.

Refreshments: Cafe serving coffees, lunches and cakes, and Folk Week Volunteers run a small bar which opens 45 mins before concerts.

Accessibility: Full disabled facilities including a lift to the main auditorium and workshop areas.
