Sir Reel Clarks AT THE JACK HAMILTON BAR (Free)

Our Festival 'Jack Hamilton' Bar hosts daily afternoon gigs, all profits from the bar go to the Festival. Sited at The Sarah Thorne Theatre at the top of the town, it is a perfect pit stop between the town and campsite.

The bar is named after the co-founder of Festival, Jack Hamilton, who started the Festival with Bert Cleaver back in 1966!

Sir-Reel Clarks are a family band from Aberdeenshire. With a rich musical heritage that spans generations, Aaron, Andy, Kyle, and Chantel come together to create a unique sound that blends different styles and genres of folk music.

Aaron Clark inherited his grandfather's melodeon, and despite the challenges of Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, and Tourette's, has created a sonic tapestry of sound with his father Andy on guitar, vocals, mandola, and bodhran.

Aaron's debut album, "Out of the Box," a collaboration with his father and esteemed musician and Folk Week Patron, Tim Edey, showcases his genre-defying talent and is available on popular streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube. His ability to blend musical styles seamlessly leaves an indelible mark on listeners worldwide.
