Open Houses 26 at Broadway Lodge, Weston-super-Mare
We are holding an Open Day on Wednesday 9th September as part of a wider initiative called 'Open Houses 26', and you are welcome to come to Broadway Lodge to see our treatment centre in person!
Visiting us will give you an opportunity to hear from people with lived experience of addiction, see the treatment we offer and learn about the services we provide to our local community and beyond.
You can choose from two different time slots which are:
- 10am - 12noon (light refreshments will be provided)
- 2pm - 4pm (light refreshments will be provided)
Each slot will start with presentations followed by a short tour of the facility. There will be opportunities to ask questions and meet some of the team throughout your visit.
Dietary Requirements
If you book a ticket, please inform us if you have any dietary requirements by emailing hello@broadwaylodge.org.uk

What is Open Houses 26?
Open Houses 26 is an invitation for commissioners, policymakers, system leaders, professionals in the drug and alcohol addiction field and people who would like to understand more, to visit residential treatment services in their local areas during September 2026. These open days will provide a unique opportunity to meet staff and residents, observe therapeutic approaches in action, and better understand how residential care contributes to recovery, public health and community safety.
Over the past decade, residential rehabilitation services have faced significant funding challenges and declining access, despite growing and increasingly complex need. Unfortunately, some pathways have become fragmented, limiting effective routes into treatment and reducing the system’s ability to make full use of residential provision.
Open Houses 26 aims to address this by offering a simple but powerful proposition: enabling decision-makers to “see for themselves” the impact, governance, and outcomes of residential care. By building direct relationships between services and stakeholders, the initiative supports more informed pathway decisions and stronger integration across treatment systems.
