At the last gig the Blue Lamp's Sandy Brown (RIP) had taken a chance on this, and thankfully invited us back in 2020!  Finally we are able to reschedule confidently for 2022.

SAFEHOUSE Are Edinburgh's favourite Psychedelic Blues & Southern Rock band, featuring music from The Allman Brothers to The Rolling Stones and the occasional original, with an honest and blistering sound!  "Vintage blues, Southern rock, 1960s psychedelia, mercurial energy steeped in influences from Robert Johnson to the Rolling Stones"

AL BROWN is "arguably one of the finest and truest blues guitarists in the UK today". Joining Safehouse for the first time at the first Shindig in 2019, AL is staying on board for 2022. "Having a tasty bluesman such as Al join two excellently contrasting bands, makes the Northern Shindig is a very special event!"

BROKEN WINDOWS Hosting this event in their usual style of peaceful debauchery, Opening the night with original, live spirited music & songs fronted by singer/songwriter Liz Jones. They will be joined by Al Brown, making this show a one in a blue moon(lamp) special!.
