2023-24 Season Schedule

The season is filled with a remarkable array of concerts that span from the Opening Night, where the BCO honors Latin composers Márquez, Villa-Lobos, and Aguilar, to the season finale, where Maestro Nuzzo takes the helm in a captivating "A Night at the Opera" featuring soprano sensation Rebecca Nelsen. These concerts embody immense creativity and passion, offering a rich tapestry of musical inspiration.

Renowned artists from around the world combine with BCO's resident musicians to showcase their talents, presenting a combination of contemporary compositions by today's leading composers and beloved classics from bygone eras. The inclusion of awe-inspiring choral works adds an extra layer of enchantment, leaving the audience spellbound and deeply moved.

Mahler's legendary First Symphony ‘Titan’, paired with Lou Harrison's Concerto for Piano and Javanese Gamelan, with soloist Adam Tendler, piano.

03.23.2024 – Dreams & Journeys
Premiering modern compositions on the immigrant experience by NYC composer Emilia Tamburri and BCO principle flute Eva Ding.

05.04.2024 – A Night at the Opera
Epic selections from Strauss, Mascagni, and Verdi with renowned soprano Rebecca Nelsen supported by Grace Chorale.
