Wild Wellbeing: Cold & Fire

Step beyond the familiar and into an experience designed to awaken the body, sharpen the mind, and reconnect you with something deeply alive.

Hosted by Jack and Jake of Yorkshire Nourishment, you’ll be gently guided into the invigorating world of cold water immersion. More than simply an icy dip, this is an opportunity to meet yourself at the edge of comfort, discover a quiet inner strength, and experience the surprising exhilaration that can arise when you say yes to challenge.

Drawing on their passion for nature, wellbeing and resilience, Jack and Jake create a supportive space where challenge becomes adventure, allowing you to safely explore the energising power of cold water.

Cold immersion has become widely loved for its ability to energise the body, awaken the senses and cultivate resilience, leaving many people feeling refreshed, clear and deeply present.

Afterwards, the journey softens. Warm up beside the fire with hot cacao and settle into the comfort of the woodland sauna, allowing heat, stillness and nature to bring you back into balance.

Cold. Heat. Breath. Presence.

How to find us:

From the A59 take the turning to Carleton onto Heslaker Lane. Continue along this road into the village of Carleton. At the Swan Inn pub turn right onto West Road and continue up the hill and out of the village. Follow this road until you see a sharp right turning opposite a farmhouse. It is signposted for Land Rover Experience. Take this turning, immediately passing another farmhouse on your right. Follow the concreted lane until you come to another farmhouse ahead and a fork in the road signposted 'Yellison' to the right. Take the right-hand fork, passing the farmhouse on your left. Keep going down this track until you see our wild swimming pond on your left with a detached house just behind it. This is Yellison, where you will be parking. The access road to Yellison is a sharp left turn just beyond the pond, passing between two trees.

We recommend car sharing where possible as parking is limited.

Parking on the grass by Yellison Reservoir is recommended.

Please do NOT park at the Land Rover Discovery Centre.

Clothing & What to Bring

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing, a warm coat, and outdoor footwear. Swimwear or leisurewear should be worn underneath and please bring a towel and water bottle.

We may take photos and videos during the session for social media. If you would prefer not to be included, just let us know beforehand.
