The Wild Pages - Journal Circle Outdoors

The Wild Pages is an immersive, nature-based art journaling experience set within the beautiful grounds of Broughton Sanctuary.

Blending gentle walking, creative practice, and time to simply be, this session offers space to slow down and reconnect with yourself, your creativity, and the natural world.

We begin with a guided 5km walk through woodland and open landscape, with invitations along the way to pause, notice, and respond creatively to what you encounter. Using simple journaling prompts, you'll explore mark-making, words, and image in a way that feels natural and un-pressured.

The day also includes time in the yurt for reflection and creating, a warm circle space, tea and cake, and the option of a lake dip for those who wish.

No previous art or journaling experience is needed — this is about process, not outcome.

This day is facilitated by Sally Golightly — an art journaling guide whose spaces are less about creating something good, and more about allowing something real to emerge. Her approach is intuitive, accessible, and deeply human, and she believes creativity belongs to everyone — not just the confident or the trained. 🌿

You can expect:

Please bring:

• Comfortable walking boots/trainers
• Swimming things if you wish to dip
• Blank art journal
• Snacks/pack up
• Water
• Waterproofs/suncream
