Printmaking with Bridget

Discover the joy of printmaking in this relaxed and creative morning workshop with artist Bridget Tempest.

Working with monoprint techniques, you will have the opportunity to experiment with colour, texture and form, creating unique prints through a process that is both playful and surprisingly freeing. No previous experience is needed. Whether you are completely new to printmaking or already enjoy drawing and painting, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The workshop takes place at Rushbank Print Studio, perched high on the moor above Broughton, with sweeping views across the valley and the distant Three Peaks.

All materials are provided as well as a tea break. As oil-based inks will be used, you may wish to bring an apron and a pair of rubber gloves.

Your guide for the morning is Bridget Tempest, an accomplished artist whose work has been exhibited widely and who brings many years of experience as both a practising printmaker and teacher.
