Tottenham Tales Walk
For a special edition of 'Munch & Listen', join us on a guided circular tour of Tottenham Tales, beginning and ending at Bruce Castle Museum & Archive.
Tottenham has a rich and fascinating tapestry of tales of local rebels, artists, pioneers and more. The diverse communities that have called Tottenham home create a legacy of places, stories, art, and culture. Tottenham Tales is a new sign-posted walking trail and digital map that highlights this rich history and bring it to the present day. Join us for a guided walk to hear more of these forgotten stories across Tottenham from iconic protests, local rebels and legendary cultural venues…
The tour will be led by Deborah Hedgecock, Curator of Bruce Castle Museum & Archive. She will take us around Tottenham on a treasure hunt for the new Tottenham Tale signage that highlight the buildings and sites that hold remnants of these tales, supported by an online map to bring archive material to life.
Meet at 10.15am for a 10.30am start at the front entrance to Bruce Castle Museum & Archive, N17 8NU (below the clocktower).
Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes for walking and bring a bottle of water.
