What is Nature School for Grownups?
Nature School for Grownups (or NSFG for short) is a series of small-group outdoor sessions for grownups who want to spend more time in nature — in a way that is practical, social, and easy to step into.
Each session is 2 hours and usually includes:
- a playful nature-based game to help people relax and connect
- learning bushcraft skills (such as foraging, shelter-building, fire-making and more)
- getting our hands dirty with practical and creative activities (processing plants, basket-making, nature-based artwork)
- time to slow down, be outside, and enjoy being part of a small group
No prior experience is needed. Everything is taught step-by-step, and you’re welcome to take part at your own pace.
Some sessions are one-offs, while others are part of a short series where each week builds on the last.
If you’re curious about what we do, want to feel more confident outdoors, or are simply looking for a different way to spend time outside — you’re very welcome.
Who Is This For?
Adults of all backgrounds No prior outdoor experience needed, especially relevant for you if you:
• Spend a lot of time indoors
• Want to meet new people
• Feel disconnected from nature
