Learn about: Monitoring and reporting on your project for your small community group (Edgbaston)
Wed 13 Nov 2024 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM GMT
Edgbaston Community Centre, B15 2HU
Description
This learning session is for you if you are running a small voluntary group in Edgbaston and would like to boost your monitoring and reporting skills.
Together we'll look at ways you can reflect on and record the success of your community project, exploring:
- Ideas for collecting outcomes information
- Methods of measuring impact and creating an action plan
- Financial reporting
- Example methods of collecting monitoring information - such as case studies, surveys, and informal feedback.
Monitoring and reporting may not sound like the biggest fun (especially not compared to actually planning and holding community activities) but it's vital you feed outcomes and other results back to your funders. It's also helpful for your team, your volunteers and other people you work with to collect and share the impact you are collectively having; to celebrate and learn from your successes. And, if you have some simple tricks to gather all this data, we think you'll find the process much easier and more enjoyable.
As with all of our events, we will keep this one light, informal and friendly!
How to register:
- Click on the 'reserve your space' button to register - we'll ask you a few simple questions about your community group/project/idea so we know how best to support you on the day.
- If closer to the time you cannot attend please email us at info@birminghamcommunitymatters.org.uk to let us know. This will allow us to allocate your place to someone else.
This event is for small voluntary and community groups, and is not geared towards CICs or other social enterprises.
Here’s why - and where you can get the right support
