Friends of Agriculture Farm Tour at Laughing Springs Farm & Botanicals 

We’re delighted to invite Sustainer Circle Members & Friends of Agriculture to join BRWIA for a special evening at Laughing Springs Farm & Botanicals in Boone, NC

 Laughing Springs Farm & Botanicals is a certified organic farm located on the edge of Boone on 17 acres of land. Owners Jay Bost and Nora Rodli grow fresh diversified vegetables, corn for milling (grits, cornmeal), medicinal herbs, flowers and seed crops. 

This gathering is an opportunity to slow down, connect with local farmers, learn more about the history and of a working farm, and celebrate the community you help sustain.

Laughing Springs has limited capacity and parking, so this experience is limited to 15 guests. Please RSVP if you’d like to attend to secure your spot!

What awaits you:

• A warm welcome and time to mingle with fellow Friends of Agriculture
• Learn more about the history and current operations of the farm from the owners, Nora & Jay
• A guided farm tour
• A hands-on corn activity- learn how to shell dried ears of corn
• An opportunity to experience a working local farm firsthand
• A chance to support and celebrate the farmers who help sustain our region

What to know before you arrive

Laughing Springs Farm is a working farm. Guests should expect uneven terrain, natural ground conditions, and outdoor elements.

We recommend:

• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
• Clothing appropriate for walking and working outdoors
• Dressing for the weather
