Potential new police approaches to dealing with Hate Crime, specifically Disability Hate: PGR/ECR Discussion Group

James Bird, a senior police officer with West Midlands Police and a champion for disabled police officers and disabled members of the public, reveals a new and innovative model of hate crime reporting and its effects. This new regime, if successful, may become a UK-wide model. 

James is passionate about how we police hate crime in the UK. He is innovative in the way that he has helped to manage a transition of handling complaints involving hate offences and focusing on victim support and dealing with offenders.
